Decadent Chocolate Crinkle Cookies – One bite and you will be in love! Gooey and flavorful with a nice crunch is the best way to describe these cookies. A coat of icing sugar gives a unique look and adds to the flavor. A must try!

– 1 cup flour
– 1/2 tsp baking soda
– Pinch of salt
– 3 Tbsp cocoa powder
– 1 stick of butter (semi-cold)
– 1/2 cup sugar
– 1/4 cup brown sugar
– 2 eggs
– 1 tsp vanilla
– 1 tsp Grand Marnier
– 1/2 tsp espresso coffee or instant coffee 
– 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
– About 1/2 cup icing sugar

Flour Mixture: In a bowl sift flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder.

In the mixer bowl with paddle attachment, thinly slice the butter and add both sugars. Mix on medium-high speed for about 3-4 minutes, or until light and fluffy.

While mixer working on slow, add eggs one at a time.

Add vanilla, Grand Marnier, and coffee. 

Add flour mixture (in two batches).

Fold in chocolate chips.

Cover the bowl and place cookie dough in fridge for 20 min.

In a dish or bowl sift icing sugar. 

Make small balls from cookie dough and roll each ball in icing sugar. 

Place it on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake at 375 for 10 min.

Let them cool off and then transfer to a wire rack. 

Notes: Store in container.
